Neil Singleton (Sydney)
Neil has in excess of 26 years experience in Corporate Insolvency and Business Reconstruction. Neil is an Official Liquidator and a member of various related professional associations. Neil's experience encompasses all forms of insolvency administration, together with financial investigations and litigation assignments. Firm clients for whom Neil is responsible include Financial Institutions, Government Regulatory Bodies and Legal Firms. Neil holds external qualifications in relation to the Superannuation industry and has acted in the capacity as Acting Trustee appointed to funds by APRA. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner. Paul Russell (Sydney)
Paul has in excess of 20 years experience in the accounting profession, 13 of these as an insolvency specialist, dealing in both corporate and personal insolvency. Paul heads up the Sydney office Litigation Support division and brings a wide range of financial accounting, management accounting and commercial skills to SimsPartners. He is also a Registered Tax Agent. Paul has experience in a wide range of industries in the SME sector and has been involved in numerous complex legal and recovery actions as well as extensive experience in the preparation of expert reports in the areas of Economic Loss, Business Valuations and Solvency. Scott Pascoe (Sydney)
Scott has over 15 years accounting experience, primarily in Corporate and Personal Insolvency and Litigation Support and has undertaken a number of high profile Voluntary Administrations and Receiverships. Scott is an Official Liquidator and a Registered Trustee in Bankruptcy. Scott heads the Bankruptcy and Personal Insolvency Group of the Sydney office. Tony Sims (Sydney)
Tony Sims is the National Managing Partner of SimsPartners. Tony has more than 20 years experience in Turnaround and Workout Advisory, Corporate Insolvency, Litigation Support Services and Business Consulting. Tony is an Official Liquidator, a Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors. Alan Topp (Sydney)
Alan has in excess of 22 years experience in Corporate Insolvency, Receiverships and Business Consulting working in various industries and administration jobs including Channel 10, Custom Credit Ltd, Norman Ross Discounts, J & B Records, Digicall Ltd, Edge Computers, Healthland Gyms (now Fitness First). Since joining SimsPartners in July 2001 Alan has dealt with the liquidation of Enron Aust, developed the largest specialised Court Liquidation division in Australia and continued to provide a wide range of corporate advice. Liz Occleshaw (Sydney)

Matt Berger (Sydney)
Matt Berger is a Chartered Accountant who provides Corporate Advisory services to businesses, lenders and other financiers including private equity firms. Matt’s advisory assignments include Pre-lending Business Reviews and Acquisition Due Diligence. Matt also assists companies in financial distress by providing Investigative Accounting advice to businesses and their financiers together with the management, restructuring and sale of distressed businesses through the formal insolvency processes of Administration and Receivership. Geoff Granger (Sydney)
Geoff has over 20 years experience in corporate insolvency. During this time he has worked on all types of corporate insolvency administrations in various industries. Grant Lockley (Sydney)

Head of Fraud & Financial Investigations.

Grant has extensive experience in financial and economic crime investigation including several years working as a Detective with the NSW Police including the Fraud Squad. Whilst a member of the Fraud Squad, Grant specialised in financial and economic crime investigations including complex banking and corporate investigations. Recently Grant has also worked as an Investigator with the Australian Security Exchange, investigating market manipulation and regulation breaches of the market rules. Grant holds a number of specialist qualifications in the field including a Masters of Forensic Accounting. Grant has received numerous awards for his work in the area of fraud investigation and has published and presented papers on corporate and banking fraud.Our Experience
